Yesterday was July 4, and friends gathered on the Cooksville Commons for the traditional 4th of July picnic. It was a beautiful day under the oaks.
We had a wedding in the backyard this past weekend. It was delightful to see the wedding party taking pictures around the place. The horses in the pasture, the prairie in bloom, it all made a lovely backdrop, and the weather was perfect.
July is very busy for us. Nearly every night is booked. There will be lots of sheets drying on the line in our backyard in the weeks to come.
