Since about early December we’ve been getting only 1 or 2 eggs every other day or so. But just in the last week it has picked up to 5 or 6. Our little flock of 14 light brahma chickens has finished molting (changing their feathers) and they are ready to get back to work laying eggs for us. They sure don’t like getting snow on their feet, so they spend their days under the roof of the pole barn. It is so nice to have fresh, organic, free range eggs to give our guests.
